Nanny Position in Shorncliffe, Qld

Our family seeks a caring and experienced nanny to care for our two children. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, be patient and possess exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Caring for both children throughout the day
  • FOLLOWING THE CHILDREN'S ROUTINE, INCLUDING MORNING RITUALS AND BEDTIME ROUTINES
  • PLAYING AND ENGAGING IN AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST IN THE CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT
  • GENERAL TIDYING UP AFTER THE CHILDREN AND LIGHT HOUSEHOLD CHORES
  • PREPARING AND COOKING HEALTHY MEALS AND SNACKS

The working hours are Monday or Tuesday from 07:30 am - 03:00 pm. The carer will be responsible for taking the children on outings and engaging them in simple chores when possible.

We require a nanny who is experienced in childcare, has a driver's license, and holds a current first aid certificate. Strong English language proficiency is also necessary.

We offer a flexible schedule and a non-smoking environment.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • Experience with young babies and toddlers
  • Full driver's license
  • Current Working With Children's Check
  • Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
  • Non-smoking
