Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Building Services team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering hydraulic services systems for a range of transport, buildings, and Defence infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This is a technical specialist role that requires a high level of expertise in hydraulic engineering. You will work under general supervision and perform all conventional aspects of hydraulic engineering, including devising new approaches to problems encountered. You will have the opportunity to plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document hydraulic services systems, including sewer, sanitary plumbing, tradewaste, stormwater, gas, and water services reticulation systems.
  • Prepare and review reports and technical specifications, including hydraulic design of pumped systems, hydraulic equipment sizing, and material selection.
  • Initiate good relationships with clients (both internal and external) and work closely with senior and junior engineers.
  • Have a working knowledge of Revit MEP and familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the hydraulic engineering discipline.
