Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Are you a skilled hydraulic engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic organization? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Careerlink People Solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced hydraulic engineer to provide technical support to our hydraulic engineering team. As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-level technical investigation, design, review, systems development, audit, and advisory services related to all aspects of water and wastewater standards and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support in hydraulic engineering discipline matters across the organization
  • Provide technical support on Safety in Design (SiD) matters for the hydraulic discipline
  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to support the technical development of the team
  • Ensure Safety in Design process is incorporated into engineering activities
Requirements
  • Tertiary Civil, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Engineering qualification
  • Relevant experience in water, oil, or gas industry
  • Experience in the provision of investigation, option, concept, and detailed design of hydraulic infrastructure associated with the water industry at a high professional level
  • Demonstrated experience in auditing of designs prepared by others
  • Demonstrated experience in the execution of novel, complex, and critical engineering investigations and designs in the hydraulic discipline
  • Experience in the development and ongoing review of technical and infrastructure standards
  • Detailed knowledge of hydraulic engineering procedures and practices
