About the Role
Ventia is seeking a skilled Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Technician to join their team at the Austin Hospital. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services across the hospital's sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a multiskilled team to deliver facility management and maintenance services.
- Complete planned maintenance activities across Refrigeration/Air Conditioning systems.
- Identify and rectify equipment and infrastructure faults in a time-critical environment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
- Inspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems.
- Perform minor works, including assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment and appliances.
- Manage work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain high standards of compliance and safety, health, environment, and quality in your work.
About You
You will be qualified and experienced in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance. You will also possess:
- ARTIC licence, Refrigerant handling licence, VBA licence.
- Connect and Disconnect electrical licence.
- Knowledge of BMS Systems.
- Experience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire).
- Demonstrated experience in time-critical rectification and reporting.
- Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans.
- High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work.
- A current unrestricted drivers' licence.
- Ability to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical.
- Ability to evidence full COVID vaccinations.
Nice to Have
- Working at Heights.
- Scissor and boom lift licence.
- Experience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire).
