About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Fitter Operator to operate and maintain machinery, perform repairs, and ensure high-quality production. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with other operators, team leaders, and production managers to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Develop effective relationships and collaborate with team members to reach successful outcomes
  • Guarantee that all products manufactured comply with specifications and meet customer satisfaction
  • Optimize performance by ensuring planned production and delivery times are met
  • Undertake repairs and general maintenance of machinery and plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot repair and mechanical processes
  • Identify process improvements and carry out new project work design
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification, Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
  • Solid experience working with a manufacturing environment and hands-on experience operating machines
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a 24/7 operation and carry out shift work
