Job Description

As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims, providing technical support on claims strategies and management, conducting quality assurance reviews, coaching and mentoring claims consultants, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end retail insurance claims, including Income Protection, Total & Permanent Disability, and Trauma.
  • Expertise in managing multiple policies and customers, resolving complaints, and reviewing disputed claim decisions.
  • Strong understanding of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice) and the Insurance Contracts Act.
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring Claims Consultants.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
