As a Claims Officer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our dedicated team of professionals who guide individuals towards the best possible outcomes for their health and wellbeing. Our team is resilient and collaborative, working together to redefine excellence in everything we do.

We support individuals who have been injured in the workplace, assisting them in their return to employment. This requires care and compassion, and our Claims Officers are there every step of the way. They do this by supporting the individual's recovery, liaising with employers and treating health practitioners, and positively influencing the return to work process.

Our Nominal Insurer (NSW Workers Compensation) division works closely with clients, the employers. This partnership helps employers reduce their insurance costs, and improve their business performance and safety record, whilst also supporting the return to work process.

During your six-week program, you will gain valuable insight into the insurance industry and a possible career with us. You will participate in activities such as role shadowing, project work, and performing the specific duties of a Claims Officer.

Are you studying or qualified in Insurance, Allied Health, Psychology, Law, Social Work, Community Services, Psychological Science, Health Science, Applied Social Science, or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care? Then this may be what you are looking for.

You don't need insurance, claims or corporate work experience, but a passion for learning, dedication to service and a motivated disposition are essential. Empathy is also important, as we are here to support people through a difficult time.

**About you:**

- You are a domestic student, with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- You are scheduled to complete your studies in 2024 or later
- You are available to undertake your internship between the dates of 6/1/25-14/2/25
