Job Opportunity

This is an excellent chance to work with a leading aluminum extrusion business.

We are looking for a skilled Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Safely handling, storing, and moving dies used in the extrusion process.
  2. Maintaining and setting dies, including removing them from presses and preparing them for cleaning, inspection, and corrections.
  3. Operating electric pallet jacks, cranes, and hoists to load dies from loader tables to cradles for die ovens.
  4. Completing QA checks for caustic acid baths and tanks.

The successful candidate will work on day shifts (5am - 5pm) or night shifts (5pm - 5am). A loading penalty of 15% applies to night shifts worked. Penalty rates also apply for shifts over 10 hours.

Required Skills
  • Previous labouring experience.
  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to follow instructions and commit to working safely.
  • Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake manual handling/labouring tasks.
  • Availability to commence asap at Loganlea.
