We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Success Engineer to join our team at Klaviyo. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will work directly with a small percentage of partners and existing customers to ensure their success with our product.

Your primary focus will be on solving real-world customer problems, prototyping solutions, and communicating technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. You will be responsible for becoming a complete expert in the Klaviyo app, from understanding the data pipelines and code base of our integrations to understanding technical tradeoffs between different implementations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Become a complete expert in the Klaviyo app and its technical capabilities.
  • Offer technical guidance and expertise to customers on how to achieve their use cases.
  • Solve problems manually and then automate future solutions or collaborate with Product and Engineering to proactively improve the Klaviyo product and customer experience.
  • Be the go-to internal technical resource, educating team members and prospects/customers to provide a consistently positive Klaviyo experience.
  • Develop and maintain personal relationships with customers during engagements.
  • Effectively balance a range of core functions in support of constantly striving to help increase the output and efficiency of Klaviyo.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven ability to work in customer-facing roles and familiarity with SaaS sales processes.
  • 2+ years of applied experience with web development languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript) and REST APIs.
  • Some applied experience with a web app development framework (e.g. React, Node, Angular, Vue, etc.) and/or with a general-purpose programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, PHP, etc.).
  • Proven ability to learn new technical concepts.
  • Highly analytical thought process and excellent communication skills.
  • An interest in - and ability to - hustle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the eCommerce, martech and ESP domains is a strong plus.
