About the Role

The Verification Lead is a senior engineering professional responsible for developing and executing verification strategies for autonomous haulage solutions in ultra-class mining environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute end-to-end verification strategies across simulation, bench, and field environments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of test engineers, automation specialists, and field verification engineers.
  • Drive systematic defect reporting, prioritisation, and closure.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to align verification with business outcomes.
  • Represent verification progress, risks, and readiness at program-level reviews.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong systems engineering background with expertise in verification of complex, distributed safety-critical systems.
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary verification teams.
  • Deep understanding of autonomous mining systems, drive-by-wire platforms, and autonomy stacks.
  • Practical knowledge of HIL, SIL, automated test frameworks, and large-scale field verification.
