The Department of Education and Training is seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the school premises, its buildings and property in a functional, neat and orderly condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Business Manager and Principal, to maintain the school premises, its buildings and property in a functional, neat and orderly condition.
- Provide support for staff and students according to school policy and procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the school's facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of students and staff.
Requirements:
- Physical 3 experience level.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Remuneration Package: $75,437 - $78,650 (including salary $64,045 - $66,773)
