Role Overview

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the cook or head chef with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under supervision.
  • Serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Prepare dining areas before mealtimes, setting tables, and arranging cutlery, plates, and glasses.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
