About the Position

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents by enhancing their dining experiences.

As a Catering Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere during mealtimes and ensuring that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under supervision.
  • Serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items are in place.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
