Job Description

As a Strategic Workforce Planning Expert, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive workforce planning guidance to business leaders, enabling them to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with the Strategy and Performance team to deliver actionable insights that contribute to the optimization of our workforces, customer experience, and business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have strong demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecasting, and workforce planning. They will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support requirements definition, report scope, and planning. The ideal candidate will also have experience in predictive modelling, time series forecasting, A/B testing, spatial analytics, workforce optimization, and large data sets.

You will be an advocate of workforce management and productivity improvement within a business. You will be passionate about data and have a high level of analytical and data intelligence. The successful candidate will be able to source and transform data to build and run timely and accurate volume forecasts, enable and empower leaders to create a flexible workforce, and use data and advance analytics techniques to identify opportunities to innovate and optimize workforces and processes.

  • Deliver actionable insights to contribute to the optimisation of our workforces, our customers' experience and enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Enable and empower leaders to create a flexible workforce to keep up with the ever-changing needs and expectations of our customers.
  • Use data and advance analytics technique to identify opportunity to innovate, optimise workforces and processes and continuously improve.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecasting, and workforce planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to support with requirements definition, report scope, and planning.
  • Experience in predictive modelling, time series forecasting (ARIMA, STL, ETS), A/B testing, spatial analytics, workforce optimisation (linear programming).
  • Display an understanding of quantitative activities such as scenario forecast modelling and workforce analytics to generate actionable value-add insights from complex data.
  • Experience with large data sets and data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS.
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience (computer science, statistics, mathematics, workforce planning, contact centre or related disciplines).
  • Possess knowledge of Financial Services industry and/or Banking Operations (would be highly regarded).
