Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Deputy Principal - Head of Senior Campus at Woodleigh School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Principal - Head of Senior Campus, including diary management, email correspondence, and meeting coordination.
  • Arrange meetings with staff, students, and parents, and ensure that all necessary materials are prepared and distributed.
  • Typing of correspondence and production of documents, including reports and presentations.
  • Minute-taking and campus administration support, including coordination of campus events and activities.
  • Administration support for various campus teams, including the Campus Leadership Team, Senior Years Leadership Team, Middle Years Leadership Team, and Regenerative Futures Project.
  • Liaise with the Enrolments Team to support the enrolments process.
  • Coordinate and prepare campus weekly briefings.
  • Provide administrative support for key projects, including New Metrics, Compassionate Systems, External Professional Development, and other initiatives.
  • Assist with reception and administration duties, including cover, as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to demanding timelines and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of people, including students, parents, and the broader community.
  • Accurate record-keeping and database management skills, with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Accurate typing skills and strong typing speed.
  • Demonstrated database and computer competency, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent phone manner, proven customer service skills, and strong ability to work in interpersonal contexts.
  • Understanding and support of Woodleigh's philosophy.
  • Sound planning, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Operates effectively in a team environment.
  • Post-secondary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in office management/administration or education.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting.

  • Qualification and First Aid/Anaphylaxis is required for this position.
