Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a veterinarian to thrive in a fun, friendly and exceptional care clinic. Our freestanding clinic is located minutes from the beach and Lake Illawarra, offering a lifestyle opportunity with flexible scheduling.

Our team consists of 6 vets and 11 nurses with good support. The clinic is well-equipped with radiographs, ultrasound, dental x-ray and access to a CT scanner at our sister clinic.

  • 4 consult rooms
  • Dog and cat waiting areas and wards
  • Surgery and x-ray rooms
  • Isolation ward

Standard consultations involve 20-minute sessions using Heidi Health, an AI-powered clinical notetaking system.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality companion animal care
  • Providing consulting, diagnosing and routine surgical services
  • Offering pet owner education and follow-up care
  • Collaborating with a supportive team
  • Contributing to a positive clinic culture
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years veterinary experience
  • A team-oriented mindset
  • Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for client care and the human-animal bond
