Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance Manager to drive regulatory oversight across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact and contribute to shaping the compliance function.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) aligns with regulatory expectations through effective management and maintenance of procedures and processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ASIC, providing trusted advice on AFSL and Corporations Act matters to support the launch of new products and services
  • Lead horizon scanning and regulatory change management, facilitating timely communication and implementation of updates
  • Enhance the regulatory compliance framework by monitoring and measuring non-financial crime regulatory risk
  • Oversee breach reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulators
  • Manage complaint handling processes in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Design and deliver targeted compliance training informed by risk assessments
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for the Risk Committee and Board

Requirements:

  • A strong background in regulatory compliance within financial services, preferably in payments or remittance
  • Ideal candidates possess experience working with or within an organisation holding an AFSL
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory obligations under ASIC and APRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to find workable solutions and drive continuous improvement
  • The capacity to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for collaboration with teams in other locations
