Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior School Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide high-level support to our Principal and leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal and leadership team, including day-to-day accounting procedures, accounts payable, receivable, and banking reconciliation.
  • Assist the Business Manager with fee collection and bursary applications, ensuring a respectful and dignified approach to families.
  • Support the Business Manager in providing key direction on school spending, budgets, assets, site, buildings, finances, fees, and non-educational data analysis.
  • Deliver high-level administrative support to the school leadership and support staff, ensuring the effective management of school operations.
  • Manage financial administration as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Experience in a team leader/supervisor or personal/executive assistant capacity, with a strong understanding of administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Proficiency in financial and administrative management, with a Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities, with a commitment to honesty, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Google Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, and CiAnywhere.
