Café Attendant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Café Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our café team, you will play a significant part in enhancing the overall positive living experience within our community.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare and serve beverages and snacks, manage menu options, handle cash transactions accurately, maintain a clean and safe environment, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive customer service to residents, staff, and visitors who visit the café.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and snacks available in the café.
  • Menu Management: Assist in creating and updating the café menu, considering residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and other café supplies, and reorder items as necessary.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Food Handlers Certificate.
