Key Responsibilities- Financial and Accounting
- Liaise with Head Office to communicate and assist in understanding the group's financial and accounting results, and communicate accounting requirements to group businesses.
- Prepare, translate, and report financial results, budgets, and forecasts, and assist in the running of accounting processes.
- Liaise between HQ to facilitate communication and understanding of projects and issues.
- Ensure the Managing Director is informed of any issues, opportunities, or concerns of executives.
- Stay informed of the status of group companies, including major issues and projects.
- Communication and Liaison
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with group companies and HQ.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding of financial and accounting needs.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Fluent Japanese and English language skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary education or demonstrated expertise in business with accounting qualifications.
- Ability to organise and prioritise daily duties.
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to take on responsibility and accountability.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
- Ability to solve problems and verbalise solutions.
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting software packages.
