Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding and inspection tasks on Boxer vehicles, components, and prototypes.

About the Role:

  • Carry out welding and inspection tasks on Boxer vehicles, components, and prototypes in accordance with quality and safety requirements.
  • Work autonomously building welded steel assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified with the use of MIG and TIG welding systems, including working with HS Steels.
  • Strong understanding of complete welding fabrication of major assemblies.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, technical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures of complex structural components and entire vehicles.
  • Crane Operation High Risk Work Licence (desirable).

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent Welders trade qualifications.
  • Experience working autonomously building welded steel assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified with the use of MIG and TIG welding systems, including working with HS Steels.
  • Strong understanding of complete welding fabrication of major assemblies.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, technical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures of complex structural components and entire vehicles.
  • Crane Operation High Risk Work Licence (desirable).
