Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator

The Coordinated Research Trials role is a vital component within the research clinic at UNSW.
This position reports directly to Professor Eva Kimonis and is responsible for coordinating clinical research trials, ensuring adherence to trial protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Study Development: Develop and refine study materials in accordance with International Council for Harmonisation Guidelines and CONSORT framework.
- Project Management: Coordinate project meetings, overseeing the smooth running of externally funded projects.
- Participant Management: Manage recruitment, screening, scheduling, tracking, and following up participants.
- System Maintenance: Develop and maintain well-organised systems for scheduling, communication, file organisation, and documentation.
- Research Support: Perform tasks associated with undertaking research trials, including data collection, entry, management, analysis, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- A postgraduate qualification or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Demonstrated clinical trial coordination experience, including developing protocols, data management systems, governance, monitoring, and reporting.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, including an ability to undertake a range of diverse tasks and work independently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
