My Gateway is seeking a third-year electrical apprentice to join our team for the Shaolhaven Hospital project in Nowra. Our client, Heyday, is a leading installer of electrical and data communications cabling, products, and systems.

About the Role

As an electrical apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:

  • Running conduit and installing cables
  • Completing cable trays and installing lighting, exit, and emergency lighting/signs
  • Installing switches and switchboards and building switchboards
  • Completing metering alterations and installing standby power/generators
  • Installing temporary power, rough ins, fit outs, and uninterruptable power supplies
  • Lighting control systems and terminating power

Responsibilities

As a third-year electrical apprentice, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting tradespeople and completing labouring tasks
  • Collecting on-site deliveries and performing general ad hoc tasks
  • Working under the guidance of experienced tradespeople to develop your skills and knowledge
