Our John Holland building team on the Shoalhaven Hospital project is seeking a career driven 2nd or 3rd year carpentry apprentice to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and fittings.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
**Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in a carpentry apprenticeship program and in the 2nd or 3rd year of your Tafe training.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
