About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our team at Access Health and Community. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Provide individual and group-based clinical supervision to all clinical staff at headspace South Melbourne, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality mental health services.
  • Assess and Develop Care Plans: Support clinical staff to undertake assessments, develop and review care plans, and deliver evidence-informed treatment to young people and families.
  • Provide Clinical Support: Provide clinical support and secondary consultation to staff, in-kind service providers, and private practitioners working from headspace South Melbourne.
  • Manage Clinical Risk: Assess, monitor, and respond to clinical risk, including developing and implementing strengths-based safety plans with young people and families.
  • Lead Clinical Meetings: Provide clinical leadership to the team and chair relevant clinical meetings, including group supervision and case review meetings.
  • Ensure Quality Standards: Support the headspace Manager South Melbourne to ensure that headspace South Melbourne delivers services that meet quality and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications in psychology and current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
  • Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience in working with families and young people in mental health settings for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Clinical Leadership: Clinical leadership experience with demonstrated high level of skill in clinical risk assessment and management.
  • Supervision Experience: Recognised qualifications/training and demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision.
  • Registration: Registered with AHPRA as a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, or ability to register within first six months of employment.
