Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to launch your engineering career with hands-on experience in mechanical and structural projects.

We are seeking a graduate with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail who can work on both the mechanical systems and the structural integrity of plant equipment, infrastructure, and shutdown projects.

  • Analyzing and assessing plant equipment and structural components
  • Designing modifications to optimize existing mechanical and structural systems
  • Assisting in the design and coordination of new equipment installations, including load-bearing supports, platforms, and foundations
  • Supporting shutdown planning — including developing detailed work packs, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Preparing technical specifications for tendering, reviewing supplier proposals, and supporting contract awards
  • Collaborating with experienced engineers on troubleshooting and problem-solving for both mechanical and structural challenges
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds (or is about to complete) a degree in Mechanical Engineering — with an interest in or exposure to structural engineering principles
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with project planning tools
  • Has some exposure to CAD software
