About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with major retailers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product exposure and sales volume with key retailers.
  • Collaborate with the Country Manager and Marketing Manager to review and optimise retail product ranges.
  • Negotiate and finalise business deals with buyers, planners, and category managers from leading retailers.
  • Identify and secure business opportunities, focusing on innovative applications of our products.
  • Work closely with the Country Manager, Global management, and Marketing Manager to design and market new retail product ranges.
  • Manage and grow consumer retail markets, constantly seeking to generate new business.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in account management, with experience working with large Australian retailers.
  • Deep understanding of the consumer retail industry, with experience selling to buyers, category managers, and planners.
  • Skilled in negotiating and closing projects with headquarters and stores.
  • Experience in distribution management is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrates key soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
  • Residing in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with full working rights.
