Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking skilled healthcare professionals to provide advanced nursing care and support to patients.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing expert care to individuals and their families.

  • Conduct patient assessments and diagnoses
  • Prescribe medications as needed
  • Order and interpret pathology and radiological tests
  • Provide telehealth consults to patients
  • Refer patients to appropriate health professionals
  • Manage patient care upon referral from other health professionals
  • Prescribe and administer approved formulary medications
  • Participate in peer and case review procedures
  • Contribute to workforce development programs
  • Follow clinic procedures and policies
  • Ensure patient information security
  • Apply quality use of medicines principles

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold current AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse endorsement
  • Maintain eligibility to participate under Medicare
  • Complete CPR and Anaphylaxis training annually
