We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to join our team at the Australian Higher Education Group. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible education and skills to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver training and assessment to students in a face-to-face setting, using a range of teaching methods and materials.
- Develop and maintain curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluation tools.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Contribute to the development of new training programs and courses, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure they meet the needs of our students and industry partners.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, including monitoring student progress and outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the course being delivered.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or its successor, and one of the following:
- TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor.
- TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.
- AND one of the following:
- TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor.
- TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools.
- TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.
- A minimum of three to five years teaching experience and industry currency.
- Demonstrated excellence in training course delivery and assessment (face-to-face and online).
- Experience in providing constructive and timely feedback to students on learning and assessment.
- Ability to contextualise and develop new content.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using a student or learning management system, such as RTO or Moodle.
- Experience in course coordination.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
