About The Role
- Working closely with the Principal Solicitor to integrate the legal program into all areas of family violence support services, to improve access to justice for women and children experiencing family violence.
- Delivering high-quality legal services within the family violence and family law jurisdiction as a key leadership role.
The position will report to the Principal Solicitor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrating the legal program into all areas of family violence support services to improve access to justice.
- Working independently on a range of legal matters including complex family law matters, mentoring junior legal staff and participating in systemic change activities.
- You will hold a minimum Bachelor of Law and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of family violence and family law is essential.
- A passion for delivering high-quality legal services is crucial.
