Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing daily support and personal care to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live a fulfilling life.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support and care to customers
  • Assisting customers with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encouraging customers to engage in community activities and develop new skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • The ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts
  • A Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID0011) or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
  • The capacity to support others with personal care and domestic duties in a respectful way
  • Good computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
