Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities, and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting adults with complex needs in an independent living setting.
  • FOLLOWING POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT AND CARE SUPPORT PLANS AS DIRECTED BY CLINICAL TEAMS AND SITE MANAGERS.
  • Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport, and accessing the community safely.
  • Promoting choice and control and showing eagerness to participate in clients' day-to-day routines, goals, and interests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and provide a positive and safe environment for our clients.
  • Certified NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
