Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and operating mobile plant machinery across broadacre cropping, livestock, and horticultural sites.
Key Responsibilities- Transport and operate mobile plant machinery in varied terrain, including paddocks, irrigation zones, and horticultural blocks.
- Assist with land preparation, seeding, fertiliser application, and crop maintenance in line with sustainable farming practices.
- Relevant qualification and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience operating mobile plant in farming environments.
- Proficiency with tractors, loaders, and attachments; familiarity with precision agriculture tools is advantageous.
- Strong adherence to WorkSafe standards and farm-specific safety protocols.
- Experience in broadacre cropping or livestock support operations.
- Exposure to horticultural machinery or interest in diversifying into tree crops.
- H/MR truck license for machinery relocation between properties.
This role is ideal for a mechanically minded, safety-focused operator who is comfortable working across diverse agricultural settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing farm productivity while adhering to regenerative farming principles.
