Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Urban Planner to be based in Brisbane. This role involves direct reporting to the Director of Planning and comes with the support of a national team of over 260 specialists. The primary responsibility will be to convert clients into advocates, which includes cultivating strategic relationships with prospective clients and enhancing existing client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of planning regulations and relevant legislation within Queensland
- A robust network of connections within urban development or related sectors, with proven ability to leverage these relationships for business growth
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and organizational growth
- Assess and manage commercial risks while exercising sound judgment
- Oversee recruitment, management, training, and mentorship of staff
- Manage financial objectives including budgets and profitability
Qualifications:
- Degree in Town Planning or a related field
- Strong commercial acumen, financial management capabilities, and leadership skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Dedication to delivering high-quality service to clients
