Job Title: Specialist Physiotherapist - Clinical Leadership

The successful candidate will be a seasoned physiotherapist, skilled in managing complex caseloads and delivering high-quality care to diverse patient groups.

This role involves independent clinical decision-making, developing and implementing physiotherapy interventions across multiple care settings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

As a specialist physiotherapist, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff and students, delegating tasks appropriately to allied health assistants, and ensuring that all care is delivered in line with professional standards, documentation requirements, and patient goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy services, utilising advanced reasoning and clinical practice to manage complex or novel cases.
  • Supervise, teach and train junior physiotherapists, allied health assistants and students, promoting their professional development and enhancing service delivery.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for growth and develop solutions to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in data collection, risk management, and other administrative duties as required, supporting the effective functioning of the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Advanced Clinical Skills: Expertise in physiotherapy practice, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate effectively, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
