Building Surveyor Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute Council's statutory functions under the Building Act and Regulations.
  • Lead and manage the Building Services team to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Oversee building inspections, enforcement, and compliance programs.
  • Provide expert advice and represent Council in regulatory matters.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying and unrestricted Building Surveyor registration.
  • Extensive experience in building surveying, compliance, and enforcement.
  • Proven leadership skills with team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Act, Regulations, and Victorian local government.
