This is a pivotal role within the company, responsible for supporting the acceleration of productivity through the implementation and management of AI-driven design tools. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that make it easy for designers to access the resources and support they need, whether that's optimising workflows, providing clear guides and self-serve resources, or managing research tools.
The key responsibilities of this role include overseeing the full design toolchain, partnering with internal teams to align on tooling needs, and serving as the enablement front door - triage intake requests, guide designers through operational processes and tooling selection, and connect them with the right resources or support.
A Design Operations Lead in this position will also manage research tooling for designers, including access, onboarding, and support, as part of the design toolchain. They will lead pilots and structured evaluations for emerging tools, define success criteria, collect user feedback, and make clear recommendations to scale, optimise or retire.
Additionally, the Design Operations Lead will coordinate procurement and vendor relationships, negotiate licence terms, ensure compliance, and manage renewals in collaboration with Legal and Finance. They will also monitor tooling health and adoption metrics, such as usage rates, satisfaction scores, and efficiency gains, to inform continuous improvement.
