Radiologist - Rockhampton

Job Description:

We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to join our team in Central Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to live and work in one of Australia's most beautiful coastal locations.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in Rockhampton and Yeppoon, QLD. They will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray, to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

The Consultant Radiologist will produce high-quality reports that meet regulatory requirements and communicate effectively with referring clinicians.

Additionally, they will stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technology to maintain professional competence.

They will collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent patient care and support the development of the department.

Requirements:
  • FRANZCR fellowship + eligibility for AHPRA specialist registration
  • Broad skills in General Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Interventional
  • Dual-qualified in Nuclear Medicine? Highly regarded
  • Team-focused, eager to contribute to clinical excellence
