Scientific Professional for Laboratory Operations

The position involves applying broad scientific knowledge and skills to various sections within the laboratory.
- Apply multidisciplinary scientific expertise across Haematology, Transfusion, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, and Central Specimen Reception sections.
- Provide scientific guidance and result interpretations to laboratory staff and clients on Haematology, Transfusion, Chemical Pathology, and Microbiology matters.
- Perform quality duties including document control, analyser calibration record keeping, external quality programme participation, and use of internal quality control systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to apply multi-specialty scientific judgment in Haematology, Transfusion, Chemical Pathology, and Microbiology.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team towards laboratory objectives.
