Remote Payroll Remediation Specialist

Job Opportunity
This is a remote role where you will play a key part in supporting payroll remediation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and improvements in processes and systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements
- Support remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing
- Prepare reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers
- Contribute to payroll compliance initiatives and support Fair Work/Industrial Relations requirements
- Assist with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations
- Work within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives
- Collaborate across HR and Payroll projects to ensure end-to-end service delivery
- Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation
- Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders
