About the Role:

  2. Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Level and smooth render layers to ensure a consistent thickness and uniform finish">
  • Create decorative textures in finishing coats, including sponging, stippling, and trowelled effects">
  • Repair damaged plasterwork and restore weathered or cracked external walls">
  • Straighten and plumb wall and surface corners to precise specifications">
  • Cut and fit mesh or laths to strengthen render when required">
  • Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition">
  • Follow all health and safety procedures on-site">
">Qualifications and Skills:">
  • ">
  • AQF Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent qualification">
  • At least two years of on-the-job training or three years of relevant experience may substitute formal qualification">
  • ANZSCO Skill Level 3">
  • Proven experience as a Renderer or Solid Plasterer, ideally with external façade work">
  • Strong hand skills and attention to detail in surface preparation and finish">
  • Ability to read and interpret basic plans and instructions">
  • Familiarity with both traditional and acrylic render systems">
  • Understanding of safety requirements and site protocols">
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team">
  • Registration or licensing may be required depending on state requirements">
