About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Coordinators to lead our team at Centacare's Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service in Bardon. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our organization and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
  • Program Delivery: Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program that caters to the diverse needs of children.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families, promoting a culture of inclusivity, respect, and open communication.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the service within the local community, aligning with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Centacare.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services or Equivalent: Hold a Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Working with Children Check: Possess a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Childcare Legislation: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Child Care legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Computer Skills: Showcase effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Display proven leadership and team development skills, with a track record of success in similar roles.
