About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and analysing our data systems to support effective decision-making and continuous improvement.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of autonomy, attention to detail, and strategic thinking to provide accurate, relevant, and timely data insights to our leadership team.

  • Utilize departmental tools such as SORD, QCAA, OneSchool, TrackED, and Microsoft Office to query, analyse, and present data in various formats for school management teams.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports to assist in strategic planning, performance tracking, and operational improvements.
  • Manage and improve data sources to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information used for analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly and effectively. They will also have excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in data analysis and management.
  • Proficiency in data management systems, including OneSchool and TrackED.
  • Familiarity with Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) processes and data requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.
