This position requires a highly skilled Community Health Specialist to work in the Northern Territory.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Manage a caseload covering adults and paediatrics outpatients in the clinic and provide outreach services to remote communities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a transdisciplinary team with allied health clinicians, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Assistant, and Team Leader.
- Travel to remote communities in the Big Rivers region by 4WD or light aircraft, with overnight stays during weekdays.
- Provide case management and community education services.
- A qualified Community Health Specialist is required for this publicly funded service in the Northern Territory.
- Caseload management skills, experience with adults and paediatrics, and community education are essential.
- ASAP start date for an initial period of 3 months with possible extension.
