Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist with experience in procurement and supply management to join our commercial team in Perth.

The successful candidate will have strong P2P and SAP knowledge, as well as an in-depth understanding of supplier selection and its importance in ensuring value maximisation.

This role involves providing a dedicated purchasing service to support stakeholders, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, liaising with suppliers to ensure quality standards, and supporting stakeholders through Procure to Pay and Commercial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a dedicated purchasing service to support site-based stakeholders
  • Identify and create opportunities for cost reduction and value adding when entering into supplier agreements
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure the quality of goods purchased meets required standards
  • Place orders within SAP for goods and services at the optimum price after considering quality, quantity, and delivery requirements
  • Support stakeholders through CPMs Procure to Pay and Commercial processes
  • Monitor delivery schedules and liaise directly with site customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of procured goods and services
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain, business, finance, or related fields is highly desirable
  • A mechanical background or understanding and experience in component repair and maintenance programs is also desirable
