Senior Mechanical Engineer Position Overview

">Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and implementing pumping and pipeline systems. They will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects, defining scope of service, and preparing proposals for clients.

Key responsibilities include evaluating existing topographical terrain and infrastructure information to identify preferred and alternative pipeline routes, developing pipeline plans and long section drawings using 3D CAD pipeline modeling software, performing steady state pipeline hydraulic designs using Excel or hydraulic modeling software, and conducting pipeline stress analysis and pipe installation calculations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Certified Professional Engineer (CPEng) certification, and at least 3-5 years of specialized experience in pumping and pipeline system engineering designs.

They will also have proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD, as well as experience developing capital expenditure and operational and maintenance cost estimates for projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
