Director of Experiential Learning

The role requires a strategic leader to design and implement a whole-school experiential learning strategy, ensuring programs are progressive, inclusive, and aligned with the school's priorities and values.

About the Role:

  • Foster a deep understanding of experiential learning principles among staff and students.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of an experiential learning strategy that drives student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Evaluate and refine existing programs to ensure they meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate experiential learning into curriculum design and delivery.
  • Provide operational oversight to ensure effective program management, including scheduling, documentation, risk assessments, and budgeting.
  • Lead a team of educators in developing and delivering high-quality experiential learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects related to education or experiential learning.
  • Strong knowledge of educational theories and practices, particularly in experiential learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
