Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team in providing exceptional patient care.

The Department of Medicine at Mackay Base Hospital offers a dynamic and challenging environment for medical professionals. As a Principal House Officer, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients under the supervision of a staff specialist.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, arranging investigations, and participating in daily ward rounds. You will also contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and professional development activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a busy inpatient service with consultation and outpatient clinic responsibilities.
