Key Role: Data Platform Enablement

This position involves enabling projects to scale across data engineering, science, governance, architecture and management.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document and validate business and technical requirements for data initiatives.
  • Work alongside engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyse source systems, data flows and transformation logic to support ETL/ELT development and integration.
  • Develop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries and mapping documents.
  • Support testing and validation of pipelines, ensuring accuracy, completeness and performance.
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworks.
To succeed in the role you will have
  • Proven experience as a technical analyst in data-centric projects.
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3 and Glue.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas and transformation logic.
  • Experience with SQL for data profiling, validation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, JIRA/Confluence and CI/CD environments.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical detail into business value.
  • Exposure to other AWS services.
  • Experience in financial services, government or other regulated industries.
