Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to oversee the airworthiness of a fleet of helicopters, ensuring they remain in compliance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer guidelines.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to liaise with maintenance personnel, flight operations, and regulatory authorities.

  • Manage the duties of the Maintenance Controller in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all rotary-wing aircraft under your remit remain airworthy, adhering to regulatory requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities on all variations, exclusions, special flight permits, and extensions.
  • Maintenance Activities: Oversee all maintenance activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and modifications, to ensure they are carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM) and other relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing rotary-wing maintenance operations.
  • Record Keeping: Support Tech Records team to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities.
  • Communications: Liaise with maintenance personnel, flight operations, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Airworthiness Management: Maintain knowledge of CASA CAMO P42 Regulations & CAR 30 (Mandatory).
  • EMS, SAR, and or ALE RW experience (Highly Desirable).
  • Customer-Focused Approach: Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Remote Work Experience: Be comfortable working remotely from head office while maintaining effective communication with team members.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Competency: Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for record-keeping and data analysis.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Develop and maintain positive working relationships through open and clear communication.
